Crocheted AirPods Case
I invested in AirPods this past December, and let me tell you, they are 100% worth it! If you’ve been considering spending the money, stop thinking about it and buy them. You’ll thank me later. – not an ad!
There’s a couple things I don’t really love about them though. First thing is that I can never find them in my mess of a purse. The second is that they tend to attract unwanted attention. I don’t know if it has something to do with the electricity, but my AirPods seem to attract all the hair and dust particles.
One day I was digging through my purse, hoping I hadn’t lost them, and it hit me.. Why in the world have I not crocheted a case for my AirPods?! Inspiration struck. I grabbed the closest yarn to me (some leftover I Love This Cotton, which by the way is my go-to cotton yarn – you can find it here) & worked away on a case.
The pattern worked up super fast, even with having to frog a few times before I got the sizing just right. Plus it fixed BOTH the problems I was having. Using a case keeps all the dust away & it’s SO much easier to find them in my purse. The color sticks out, and if I’m blindly rummaging around, I can feel the texture of the yarn. Maybe I’m too excited about such a simple idea, but I love this crocheted AirPods case! Of course I have to share it with all of you!
